I'm happy to announce that I have completed my doctoral work. Having finished my thesis and defended it, I have now moved on.
I was fortunate to work with some great people at Applied Decision Analysis.
Now, I’m fortunate to work with more great people at Paramark.
In the meantime, I’m trying to follow the progress of GLAST, the solving of our favorite gamma-ray mysteries, and some great results from the cosmology group at Caltech.
Academic Research
Statistical analysis of EGRET gamma-ray data, including gamma-ray pulsar timing searching, gamma-ray burst searches, investigation of non-gamma events in the EGRET instrument, orbital and pulse timing of X-ray binaries. Development of track finding and fitting software based on Kalman filters for the GLAST project, and analysis of the silicon tracker data from the October 1997 beam test. A list of useful Kalman filtering references may be found here.
